A Night of Dinner, Dance, and Unsolved Mystery!!!

 Saturday, January 4th at FIU

In celebration of the birth of the Forever Bloom Alliance and the coming of the New Year, FBA is hosting its Annual Winter Dinner and Dance.  Come join us for a night of mystery and help solve the crime of the 1920s at Florida International University.  The night will feature a host of music, dancing, awards, prizes, and your favorite foods all under the theme of a Great Gatsby “whodunnit” mystery taking place during the Roaring 1920s!  The Winter Dinner is FBA’s only fundraiser, which proceeds go to benefiting our social and charitable programs held throughout the year.

Special Guest Charity

One of our most important goals as a youth-oriented public charity is to help support other local charities through collaboration and fostering awareness.  This year’s featured organization at the dinner is Friends Forever Humane Society, whose mission is to “rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless and unwanted Labrador Retrievers and other dogs in need of help.”  As a show of support FBA will be collecting pet supplies before and at the dinner to donate to FFHS.  We ask that you please bring with you to the dinner one or more of the following items: Click here to view the list.  

Prizes and Giveaways

This year’s Winter Dinner will feature a host of door prizes and giveaways.  At the event FBA will raffle freebies and a variety of $5 to $50 gift cards from some of Miami’s most popular stores and restaurants including: The Apple Store, Moe’s, Starbucks, TGIF Fridays, Amazon, Regal Cinemas, and CineBistro.

Purchase advanced tickets online from one of our Ticket Sellers before January 1st.  Click tabs below for advanced ticket prices.  Tickets sold after January 1st or on the same day* of the event are $30.00 per person.  Note: The amount on the face of the ticket only reflect the Pre-January 1st advanced ticket price.

Volunteer at the Winter Dinner

Learn about earning Forever Bloom Volunteers community service hours at the dinner.

Forever Bloom Volunteers (FBV) provides opportunities for students 12 and up to volunteer and earn community service hours for their schools, clubs, and churches.  Community service projects will be announced regularly on our Events Calendar underneath the FBV logo.

The 8th Annual FBA Winter Dinner is a community service event meant to raise funds for helping FBA carry out future projects benefiting its supporters and other members of the local and national community.  If you are interested in volunteering at the dinner please read and follow the guidelines below then send an email confirming your participation to info@foreverbloom.org.  Forever Bloom Volunteers will meet at the FIU Graham Center at 2:00pm, sign in, and begin setting up. FBV must remain until at least 11:00pm, which is the deadline for FBA to have the area picked up.  All Winter Dinner participants including FBV must purchase the $25 tickets prior to the event (click on the link above to purchase tickets).   Only volunteers who are unable to attend the dinner will not have to purchase tickets.  FBV must complete the Forever Bloom Volunteers Enrollment Form prior to volunteering.

Finding the Graham Center Ballrooms: Go east on Flagler to 107th Avenue.  After entering the Florida International University campus from either 8th Street or 107th Avenue, turn onto University Drive and head in the direction of the Graham Center.
